Media Relations

Effective media relations requires careful planning, consistent pitching and aggressive follow-through. It anticipates and takes advantage of opportunities to create news. Plus, it provides third-party endorsement for brands - which can then be shared across numerous platforms and used in marketing materials.  

National Media  

Throughout my career, I have worked on stories with almost every major national media outlet including: NBC News / MSNBC, ABC News, CBS News, FOX, CNN, HLN, CSPAN, The AP, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Huffington Post, among others.

Trade Media   

I have pitched and secured several prominent stories on various topics including Lynn's core curriculum, "We've Never Heard of You, Either" debate t-shirt and personalized campus tour, to both The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Education, among other magazines, newspapers and online blogs / news sites. 

Local Media 

Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. is located on the cusp of the Miami - Fort Lauderdale (#16) and the West Palm Beach - Ft. Pierce (#38) media markets. I interfaced with reporters, news directors and photographers from both markets, earning positive media coverage for the university.

On a daily basis, I worked with seven local affiliates that covered Lynn's media market (WPTV NBC News Channel 5, WPBF ABC News Channel 25, WPEC CBS News Channel 12, WTVJ NBC News Channel 6, WPLG ABC News Channel 10, WFOR CBS News Channel 4 and WSVN FOX News Channel 10), as well as the major dailies including the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Palm Beach Post, the Miami Herald and the South Florida Business Journal
