Haiti Crisis
On Jan. 12, 2010, Lynn University was flung into the national media spotlight when we lost four students and two professors in the Haitian earthquake. I was on the frontline working 24/7 to manage and communicate updates regarding the crisis.
Prior to hosting the 2012 presidential debate, Lynn was most notably in the national media spotlight in January of 2010 when the university lost four students and two professors in the Haiti earthquake. During this tragedy, I managed and facilitated media coverage, communicated updates with the university family, and planned and executed several media events that followed the initial crisis including the Journey of Hope Memorial Service (March 12, 2010), Knights Unite Day of Caring (Jan. 12, 2011), and the dedication of the Lynn University Remembrance Plaza (March 16, 2012).

- Knights Unite Day of Caring media coverage (Jan. 12, 2011).
